Director of Residential Programs

Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County has a 67-year history of providing quality residential and community based services to individuals with disabilities throughout the Hudson Valley.  Our Counsel of Quality Leadership (CQL) accredited programs provide person-centered planning focused on enriching the lives of every individual living in our programs.

At this time, we have an opening for an experienced professional to serve as the Director of Residential Programs providing oversight and leadership to our seven community-based residential programs.  This Director must have experience in managing an OPWDD-based residential program with a strong understanding of the regulatory complexities within OPWDD.   This Director will also possess the capacity to motivate and inspire our staff, have a strong interest in championing the work of our DSPs and support the National College of Direct Support skill standards curriculum throughout the organization.  The Director will ensure that all individuals participating in our residential program receive comprehensive, person centered, high quality services consistent with our CQL accreditation standards.  As a member of our Senior Leadership Team the Director will be core member of the agency wide leadership and have valuable input in planning and development.

Qualifications required include a Master’s Degree in a human services field with 5 years’ OPWDD residential program management experience.  A Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years’ OPWDD residential program management experience will also be considered.
