TRAID Coordinator
TRAID Coordinator Responsibilities
- Maintain correspondence with Justice Center re: program, funding, etc.
- Attend TRAID Directors meetings at Justice Center
- Communicate with CFO, finance, Justice Center regarding budget and expenditures for TRAID, EI, MFP,ACCES-VR funding sources
- Research/Order equipment for funding sources (TRAID, EI, MFP,ACCES-VR)
- Assemble and Label all equipment (include funding source)
- Enter equipment into state database (NATAD’s) inventory
- For each item entered must include cost, funding source, purchase date, serial numbers, item description, accessories
- Assist clients with AT needs.
- By finding specific requested item or doing research of inventory to make suggestions/provide options
- Refer to vendors for purchase, as well as refer to grant and loan programs available to assist in purchasing AT
- Schedule meetings for pick up and or drop off/review of equipment/loan process
- Complete loan paperwork/enter client/loan info into NATAD’s for tracking
- Ensure equipment is returned/loan category is changed for reuse/open ended
- Maintain equipment (cleaning, repair (COTA assists with assembly/repair/refurbishing), etc.)
- Maintain equipment storage (TRAID room, Shed at CRC, Brown Building at Webster St location)
- Order supplies needed for program (cleaning, advertising, etc.)
- Maintain call log of clients/needs for follow up tracking
- Handle Donations (determine if item is in good condition/if it will benefit loan closet and community. Cleaning, labeling, and inventory entry for tracking)
- Complete and document in NATAD’s:
- Device Demonstrations
- Training/Presentations
- Information and Assistance- Respond to requests for information and/or put clients in contact with other organizations, agencies, or companies that can provide needed information on AT products, devices, services, funding sources, or other related disability topics.
